The Compact 5500 is a laptop-style system from the Philips Compact 5000 Series with touchscreen and internal battery. Depending on the variant (G, W, P, CV) it is configured for general imaging, women's health, point of care or cardiology and uses transducers from the Affiniti/EPIQ platform.

Abdominal, obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, small parts, musculoskeletal, cardiology incl. TEE and emergency.

Options by variant

Depending on configuration: 3D/4D, strain elastography, contrast incl. MVI, AutoStrain LV and Fetal Heart Navigator.

Fast start-up

Approx. 20 s from standby to imaging; internal battery for up to approx. 30 min, up to approx. 2 h with optional cart batteries.

Touch and keyboard

15.6-inch Full HD monitor and 10-inch touchscreen with swipe gestures; touchscreen tilts from flat to 60°.

Probes and connectivity

Up to three transducers with multiport adapter (optional); DICOM (depending on configuration), LAN, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0.
